弹力女超人是超人界最有魅力的女性之一，也理所应当成为最有力量的超能先生的妻子。她的身体极富弹性，甚至可以变成降落伞（当然她也通过变成降落伞保护了她的孩子们），可以变长，甚至通过变性跳跃穿梭于城市之中……在家，她，巴荷莉（Helen Parr），是个温柔的母亲，照顾着孩子们还有超能先生，而当危险来临的时候，她也通过她多年的人际关系网和智慧，帮助全家战胜“麻烦”！

弹力女超人中国大陆的配音由徐帆完成，她之前还给多莉（Dory）配音过。

弹力女超人的飞架叫 India-Golf-Niner-Niner ，简称 IG99 ，实际上就是为了纪念导演 Brad Bird 的著名动画《正义铁巨人》，这片子英文名叫做 Iron Giant ，1999年发行：[I]ron [G]iant , 19[99]。
